StratForge is designed with a privacy-first architecture. Your strategy data lives on your device. We collect only what's necessary to operate the service.
What data we store
StratForge stores your strategy sessions, interview answers, generated EA code, and backtest results locally in your browser's IndexedDB. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to StratForge servers. Your Anthropic API key is stored locally in IndexedDB only and is never sent to any StratForge endpoint.
Email collection
When you provide your email address through the email gate, we store it in our email platform (Resend) to send you your EA backups, product updates (if consented), and onboarding reminders. We use a double opt-in model for marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send.
Consent and data sharing
We offer two optional consents at email capture: sharing anonymised strategy data to improve the product, and receiving marketing emails. Neither is required to use StratForge. We do not sell your data to third parties under any circumstances.
No server-side strategy storage
StratForge has no proprietary backend server. Your strategy sessions, EA code, backtest results, and analysis results exist only in your browser's local storage. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, this data will not be recoverable unless you have downloaded a backup.
Payments
Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. StratForge never stores or transmits your card details. The only payment data retained by StratForge is the Stripe payment intent ID (your unlock token), stored locally in IndexedDB.
Your rights
You can clear all locally stored data at any time via your browser settings or the Clear Data option in StratForge Settings. To request deletion of your email from our mailing list, unsubscribe via any email or contact us directly.
